Collage Strips I emerges from the reuse of previous canvases — remnants that once belonged to other works and now find a new place and meaning.

Bold blue shapes anchor the piece, while diagonal strips of colour cut through the surface, introducing rhythm, contrast, and direction. The background remains light and open, allowing the forms to breathe and interact without saturation. What appears spontaneous is carefully balanced: weight and lightness, control and freedom, movement and pause.

This work speaks of transformation — of how fragments can be reassembled into a new, coherent whole.
It is part of a pair conceived in dialogue with Collage Strips II, a complementary piece that echoes its language while offering a different energy.
